Sister Rosanne Popp, along with Dr. Theodoros Voloyanis and Mr. Ivan Voloyannis were honored with the 2019 Samaritan Spirit Award from the Carol and Ronald Krist Samaritan Counseling Center during their Kristmas Gala on November 7, 2019.

The Samaritan Award recognizes the Good Samaritans among us who cross the road to assist those in need. The award pays tribute to individuals who have made significant contributions to human health and growth, demonstrate a spiritual sensibility in their work, reflect the Samaritan Spirit personally and professionally, and have a clear understanding of what it means to love your neighbor and show mercy.

The call of our founder, Bishop Claude Marie Dubuis, is the source of Sister Rosanne’s passion to provide healthcare (including mental health) for all, regardless of income or socioeconomic status. She wel- comes the challenges of finding innovative ways to deliver high-quality care to all who come to be served in the CHRISTUS Houston area ministries.

Congratulations Sister Rosanne! May the Incarnate Word continue blessing you and guiding your ministry.
