The formation program of our two U.S. postulants is well underway. My Ngoc Nguyen and Minh Ngoc Tran are fully immersed in their formation program as they take classes with Sisters Ita, Ethel, Helena, at Aquinas Institute of Theology and online, as well as volunteering once a week at St. Francis Xavier College Church to assist people from the community in acquiring documents they need such as birth certificates and identification cards. Instruction on the history and charism of the Congregation, community life, theology, etc., as well as learning to live in a very diverse community where the members represent seven ethnicities are giving them various opportunities to grow and deepen their relationship with each other, with other members of the community and with Jesus, our Incarnate Word, through prayer, fellowship and the day-to-day activities of life shared together. We appreciate all your prayers and count on your support for all our women in initial formation.

JOURNEY OF FORMATION
WRITTEN BY SR. KIM XUAN THI NGUYEN, CCVI

Many Sisters came to the Archives at the Heritage Center at Villa de Matel to visit and see the new display featuring the women currently in initial formation. As Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, Houston, we are blessed to have several young women in different stages of their religious formation; they are especially in our prayer. Viewing the display also was a wonderful opportunity for the Sisters to visit the Archives and discover some of the hidden treasures of our history and to see the display firsthand. Hopefully, this is the first of many more to come. Praised Be the Incarnate Word. Forever!
