Annie McAdams, Attorney from Houston, Texas, provided a presentation to the Sisters and staff of Villa de Matel on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, in the Dubuis Center, sharing her story of how she went from Personal Injury Attorney to a fearless advocate who is fighting for justice in the world of human trafficking. She shared why her practice operates with a core value and understanding that the safety to the community and the world is non-negotiable. Her firm is one of the most successful female led litigation firms in the country. Every attendee understood her Texas heart is as big as her desire to make real change. She shared stories which captivated each and every person in the room.

Annie is a dynamic speaker delivering the message of human trafficking and sharing her experiences on how she istaking on the battle of some incredibly large technology companies. She provided her insight on the change she has made through the legal system within the hotel industry and their part in human trafficking. Her message anddiscussion with audience members was educational, informative, and powerful.
