Villa’s maintenance member Jim Kubin retires.

April 10, 2023 – Sisters and staff gatheredto celebrate Jim Kubin’s 19 years of dedicated service to the 72 acres he landscaped, planted, trimmed, recycled, composted, fertilized, and mowed. Sr. Kim Xuan Nguyen prepared and shared with attendees a heartfelt video presentation highlighting Jim’s work life at Villa de Matel. Sr. Celeste Trahan and Sr. Rachel O’Keeffe were also speakers sharing their kindwords in wishing Jim a blessed and happyretirement on behalf of the Congregation and staff.
