International Day of Prayer & Awareness Against Human Trafficking

From my kitchen prayer meeting in July 2011, friends Chris Ege and Linda Graham establish the boundless mercy ministry with the aim of reaching out with love, mercy – and cookies – to men and women in strip clubs, brothels and sex shops in Northeast Houston. Some 80,000 cookies and 40,000 notes of encouragement later the duo has expanded the ministry to include the arc bakery, a social enterprise that supports their efforts to raise awareness about human trafficking in their immediate community. Their work has put the unlikely do on the front lines of the commercial sex trade where they have touched countless lives and experience God’s boundless mercy.
