Sisters honored the birthday of Bishop Claude Marie Dubuis (1817–1895), the visionary founder of the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, Houston, on Saturday, March 8th. His deep faith and compassion led him to respond to the urgent needs of the sick and suffering in Texas, laying the foundation for a legacy of service that continues today. We are inspired daily by his powerful words "Our Lord Jesus Christ, suffering in the persons of a multitude of the sick and infirm of every kind, seeks relief at your hands." His legacy lives on through the many ministries founded by our Congregation, including clinics, educational centers, and retreat centers. On this special day, may we reflect on his unwavering commitment to love and service. May his example inspire us to embody compassion in our own lives. Happy birthday, Bishop Dubuis! - Submitted by Sr. Juana Matías Tomás, CCVI
